We all have walked into a classroom and immeadiately made assumptions simply based on how the classroom appeared at first glance. I believe that there are certain characteristics a classroom should have.-The teacher should utilize every resource that is available to them.
-A teacher should be a guide in the classroom and let the students explore with their peers.
-The classroom should have many different centers for the students to explore.
I love your blog so far! And I have to agree with everything you've stated. Letting children explore on their own is something that they will enjoy but, it will also be very beneficial.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. First impressions are everything especially to a child. Making a classroom look interesting could make a difference on the attitude that the child comes into class with.
